Biography & Royal Duties
Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana was born on 3 June 1978 (B.E. 2521), and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Assumption University in 2000 (B.E. 2543).
On 4 May 2019 (B.E. 2562), His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn graciously bestowed upon Her the title of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, the Queen.
Carrying out royal duties alongside His Majesty the King with steadfast dedication, Her Majesty continues the royal aspiration to conserve and promote Thailand's precious arts and crafts — among them mudmee silk, praewa silk, gold nielloware, and yan lipao basketry — so that they endure and are passed on to a new generation of artisans.
On the most auspicious occasion of Her Majesty's 4th Cycle (48th) Birthday Anniversary on 3 June 2026, the people join together in joy and boundless gratitude for Her Majesty's grace.

I am resolved to repay His Majesty's grace and boundless benevolence by continuing, preserving, and building upon the royal aspirations of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother — just as His Majesty the King has resolved to continue, preserve, build upon, and extend the grace of His royal father and royal mother.
